Phil Harte has been widely recognised as one of the world’s leading Entrepreneurs, Presenters, Motivational Keynote speakers, Chef and a distinguished Publisher. Born in Sydney and now residing in Dubai, Phil’s twenty-five year experience in the International Event Management Industry has seen him become an Adjunct Professor of the University of Nevada (Las Vegas Campus) specialising in  international  Event Management, Business, Marketing and Brand building.

Phil began his career as an International Award Winning Chef in 1978, winning the International Catering Trade Fair whilst graduating at the East Sydney Food School. This platform inspired his hospitality career whilst leading Australia’s leading restaurant, the famed San Fransisco Grill, legendary Restaurants Punier’s & Ziggy’s before heading overseas to explore Europe, UK and the USA.

After a few years travelling internationally he returned home, changed direction and pursued his passion for squash by purchasing the Liverpool Squash Centre in 1985. Next, he burst into the health and fitness scene by managing Centre 67 in the heart of downtown Sydney. This lead to Phil’s biggest challenge in establishing the iconic Oz Rock Cafe in Kings Cross between 1986 to 1994 where he embarked on a journey to raise the bar on the Entertainment scene by enlisting powerhouse international acts including The Eagles, Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, Whitney Houston, David Bowie, George Michael and Madonna…just to name a few. The Oz Rock Cafe was the first themed cafe in Australia and recognised as the number one entertainment venue in the country over a decade.

Swift to recognise the significant value in networking opportunities amongst Corporate Partnerships, Phil leapt into the Corporate Golf Market and developed the Qantas Global Classic with then CEO Gary Pemberton and Golfing Legend Greg Norman, for nine years boasting a staggering 110 events in 22 countries. With an expanding customer database of over 250, 000 clients, Harte International exploded its portfolio by running global Conferences for AT&T, Asia Global Crossing, Dell Computers, American Express and T-Mobile.

Next, Phil developed a world first ‘The Golf Card’ – a joint venture between Harte International, MasterCard and the Commonwealth Bank with unique and bespoke offer’s and benefits with all the convenience, security and worldwide acceptance of a premium Credit card. Your choice of any Premium Golf Courses, Luxurious Accommodation, Travel options, Car-rental, Dining, Entertainment and an Online shopping Galleria were all at your fingertips.

Harte then forged his niche in the publishing arena with the Classic Lifestyle Magazine now in its 21st year, an annual publication distributed in all Qantas First and Business Class Lounges world-wide. What began as a modest 16 page corporate booklet has now reached a global audience in the form of a stunning 350-page coffee table publication featuring luxurious travel destinations, luxury Hotel’s and Spa Retreats, Food and Wine reviews, with over a 2 million readers per month. The Classic Lifestyle Magazine has fast become a leader in its field.

In 2008 Harte International Consultancy was established in the United Arab Emirates launching numerous events including G’day Dubai, enlisting the support of international celebrities and corporate partners alike. In 2009 Phil was to be appointed as an Adjunct Professor at the famed UNLV (Las Vegas university) and soon after was invited to join their International Advisory Board.

Phil’s success has been inspired by the great Albert Einstein… Imagination is more important than Knowledge!
