Phil Harte has been widely recognised as one of the world’s leading Entrepreneurs, Presenters, Motivational Keynote speakers, Chef and a distinguished Publisher. Born in Sydney and now residing in Dubai, Phil’s twenty-five year experience in the International Event Management Industry has seen him become an Adjunct Professor of the University of Nevada (Las Vegas Campus) specialising in international Event Management, Business, Marketing and Brand building.
Phil is the founder & CEO of Harte International Consultancy and together with his dynamic team collaborate and specialise in concept’s & design, logistics & production for all International Events including Conferencing, Corporate Golf, Entertainment/Concerts, Brand & Product Launch’s, Award Ceremonies, Sports Management & Marketing, Key Note Speaking and Charity initiatives.
Phil’s versatility & charismatic personality enables him to deliver on both lifestyle and business genres and with his combined networking skills on the international scale, Phil brings leverage to any potential client.
Phil began his career as an International Award Winning Chef in 1978, winning the International Catering Trade Fair whilst graduating at the East Sydney Food School. This platform inspired his hospitality career whilst leading Australia’s leading restaurant, the famed San Fransisco Grill, legendary Restaurants Punier’s & Ziggy’s before heading overseas to explore Europe, UK and the USA.
After a few years travelling internationally he returned home, changed direction and pursued his passion for squash by purchasing the Liverpool Squash Centre in 1985. Next, he burst into the health and fitness scene by managing Centre 67 in the heart of downtown Sydney. This lead to Phil’s biggest challenge in establishing the iconic Oz Rock Cafe in Kings Cross between 1986 to 1994 where he embarked on a journey to raise the bar on the Entertainment scene by enlisting powerhouse international acts including The Eagles, Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, Whitney Houston, David Bowie, George Michael and Madonna…just to name a few. The Oz Rock Cafe was the first themed cafe in Australia and recognised as the number one entertainment venue in the country over a decade.
